SSDT2012 (11.1.20905.0) apparently is not identified as a supported version of Visual Studio.

From the log:
...
- Found installed product - Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Shell (Integrated)
- Found installed product - Global Location
- Found installed product - ssms
- VSIXInstaller.NoApplicableSKUsException: This extension is not installable on any currently installed products.
at VSIXInstaller.App.InitializeInstall()
at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.InnerInvoke()
at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.Execute()

The above mentioned problem seems to be related to the existence of "MS Visual Studio 2012 Shell (Integrated)". On computers with only "MS Visual Studio 2010 Shell (Integrated)", the DaxEditor installs correctly.

Currently it is not clear when was the last time when add-in loaded XML Metadata from the server. It should be added to properties of the document.

Closed Issue: not equals <> style gets messed up during formatting [1002]

format the following:
FILTER(Scoring, Scoring[TeamPosition]<>"BN")

It ends up as:
FILTER(
Scoring,
Scoring[TeamPosition] < > "BN"
)

And the < space > doesn't work anymore.

That style of comment ends up with a space between the last * and /
/*
comment * /

Then it doesn't parse.
