This is the compiled version of DAX Editor for SQL Server.

Prerequisites

• Visual Studio 2010 SP1 Pro or higher
• AMO and ADOMD. CTP3 versions of these DLLs are available for download at http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26726
• To edit measures in tabular models, you must have SQL Server Data Tools for SQL Server 2012 installed. RC0 is available at http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=28145. This includes Visual Studio 2010, AMO, ADOMD, and an evaluation version of the Analysis Services Engine.

Installing the DAX Editor

1. Close all instances of VS
2. Double click the VSIX file, accept the license terms, and install
3. Open VS. The DAX Editor is ready to use.

Uninstalling the DAX Editor

1. From VS, choose Tools->Extension Manager
2. Select DAX Editor for SQL Server, then click Uninstall.
3. Restart all instances of Visual Studio to remove the addin
